I'm interested in the M and found an M35 with 15k miles for $32k, maybe I can get it for 29 or 30k. What do you guys think? It just has the Journey Package. Also are there any reliability issues with this car?

I recently bought a used 2007 M35 with 11,800 miles on it, and I paid $30,450. No nav, only heated/cooled seats and the Xenon headlights. Really, really happy with the car thus far. If you can drive the price down somewhat, I would go for it.

Thanks for the reply. Was your car a single owner or demo? The only downside with this car is that the carfax came in as being registered to a "Rental" company in Arizona (the current dealership is in California near me). I didn't think rentals like Hertz etc. had these cars? If its a rental that probably means it got driven like it was stolen?

Mine was leased for 9 months, so I figure it must have been a corporate car of some kind. They were pretty easy on it from what I can see. In light of the low mileage, I wouldn't be overly concerned about it being a rental. While there are many who say that rentals get abused, I don't think that many teenagers were in line to rent an M35, so it probably wasn't driven all that hard. The other thing is that you can bet that the car probably had all of the maintenance done, as rental agencies are pretty attentive in that regard. They can get in huge trouble if their lack of maintenance results in some sort of accident.
