Obviously the huge draw back is the 144,000 miles on it but the car fax looks good

Looks clean enough, 144k miles for that car isn't thaaaat much, #1 thing I'd be concerned about is the transmission, after that would be all of the rubber in the suspension and the brakes, if most of that has been changed than it may be a worthwhile buy. Only thing I can't tell you is whether the price is good for your area, that you'd have to figure out yourself.

I live in Jacksonville, FL and from what Ive seen it is about 1000 dollars under priced but it has never had any major problems according to the car far which kind of scares me for a car with 144,000 miles on it, means problems could be right around the corner.

The previous owner was good with getting it checked out, seems like every 2 months they had a a maintenance check on it.

Any older higher mileage car comes with that sort of worry. Can you have a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) done on the car by a trustworthy mechanic?

144K is not an outrageous amount of miles for that car, and the G35 has a good reputation for reliability. The G's engine should easily give you well over 200K miles, that is, assuming it was treated/maintained well. unless it's an original owner car with all receipts, you're not gonna know it's history, which makes it a bit more of a risk. I wouldn't put a whole lotta faith in a bi-monthly check by someone you don't know. that does not mean they fixed a problem they detected. 8 yr old cars are gonna have more problems around the corner than a 2 yr old car. It's inevitable. but that's also why you're paying so much less for it for it. The best way to minimize those repairs from being a surprise is by doing what WDRacing suggested and have a PPI done by a mechanic of your choosing (not the dealer). He can better give you an honest assessment of the car and whatever needs it might have. Good luck

Thank you guys, I'm going to look into getting a PPI done. Test drove it last night and thing runs like a champ awesome car. Just wanted some advice and it seems you all think 9500 is a good deal even with the 144 k miles
