Use pucks for lifting?

Yes I am a newbie...

Just now started working on my wifes 11 Altima 3.5SR Coupe w/CVT.

Local dealership overfilled oil (3/4 qt)when they serviced last week so I used the scissor jack in the trunk today to raise the car because I am unfamiliar with the Altima.

So I notice it looks like the Altima has slots in it for jacking pucks like my C6 Corvette has that you use with a floor jack.


Any of you guys use jacking pucks on your Altima Coupe?

No pucks here. Never messed with those before....
