I always used hood pins on my cars with CF hoods, regardless of how gay it looks. =p

Bleh, I hate hoodpins. Fortunately my cf hood seems to latch pretty securely with the stock latch....

That color is sweet as hell. Good-looking S13. Someone get him in here!

My hood has a big vent so that unwanted air thats in teh engine bay comes out of the vent instead of pushing the hood up

What brand hood did you go with anyway? From what I've seen, the weave looks pretty good and it lines up real nice. Plus it's more functional than the VIS variants.

I drove my S13 for maybe 4 days with no pins on my cf hood, scared the crap out of me, the thing flexed quite a bit at high speeds. I dont really mind the look of the hood pins.

I only like hoodpins if they're facing to the side, not downwards, toward the bumper. To me, it looks cleaner that way.

why would you not use hood pins on a cf hood essp when you spend all that money into a car like that.

I can understand not liking hood pins eather. All the companies make these generic looking ones.

The guys at ma-motorsports are good people, I bought some hubs and coilovers from them. Sucks about not fasening the hoodpins though.

Yeah, that sucks.

My friend has a CF ram air style hood and one day it flew up and cracked the whole scoop part.

I don't like how they look on most cars, dad's Charger has pins, the regular latch, and a chain underneath so no one can break in, lol.

I have 4 hood pins on my car.. hehehehehe. Didn't really pick the best location for the 1st 2 hood pins.

Yea, I realllly like that shade of green too, reminds me of this clean army greenish integra my friend showed me.

Ya one of my friends hoods did that too on the freeway. He rear-ended an SUV going maybe 15 mph, and the SUV just drove away afterward. So my friend, with visably buckled hood and deformed front end, just keeps on going without ever even getting out of the car. 5 min later the remnants of the hood latch fail at 70mph. Luckily he made if to the shoulder somehow. So hood pins are good things.
