USDM VH41 Intake Manifold Onto VH45

Bit of a backwards step, but would the US VH41 'crap' plenum fit onto a JDM VH45? Reckon it might be lower than the VH45 spider?

Just trying to find a way around cutting the bonnet up Anyone want to have a measure for me? We aren't exactly tripping over them over here...

Lack of low end torque can be made up by turbo's and short diffs anyway

The bolt pattern between the mani and head on the USDM VH41 is different than the VH45.

a couple of custom intake manifolds would go down a treat

something similar to this. these are for a ca18 (excluding the thermostat housing), but both the ca18 and vh45 have two seperate ports per cylinder.

Something similar to this is what I will be doing for mine.
