usdm part for redtop CAS

is there a usdm part that i can use for a sr retop cas as the one we got on this one engine is damaged (the cover is cracked and has a hole in it, so the optical sensor wouldnt read right).will a q45 one work, eyeballing it it looks like it will.thanks.carl

Unless the metal disc was damaged, it will still read. There is NO USDM equivalent part. Just cover the CAS with a cap from a spray paint bottle or something similer.

hmmmm.ok.i wonder if the cap from a q45 cas will fit over it.it looks like it will, if it does then i guess we'll be good to go.

Don't be ghetto, fix it properly.

Else one day you might get stranded, and that is more expensive and sucks harder than just waiting for a suitable replacement.
