usdm or jdm horse power????

i was just wondering if there is any difference in horse power???sorry for the question that has probably bien asked a million times and thankyou for any input.

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market. Horsepower cannot be JDM. God this went very wrong. I hate to flame you for this but a simple search on the internet would have saved you.

The only thing that I could think that you are referring to is that in Japan, they advertise their horsepower numbers at lower numbers than what the car actually makes for I believe emissions reasons.

see that is what i thought but the guy that works at vissions.owns a 300zx wich was kool becouse we sat and yacked 4 about an hour and he gave me quwite a discount on my equipment.He told me that the japanese motors had about 20 hp more.i unno i thought it was wierd so i asked but yeah im a nooob but looking forward to getting to know these awsome cars.
