should be all the same depending on your bitrate. just one choice is preffered over another.
for ex. cd can get scratched takes up space is pretty much outdated media source. and usb or ipod is easier smaller so on.
a 192 bitrate on a cd will sound exactly the same as a 192 bitrate on a usb drive.

also the less conversion you do to the audio file the better. from wma mp3 or whatever else.

A CD with CD-Audio will probably sound the best. All other formats are compressed much more.

So stock system not bad! My friends VW Toureg system still blows it away!

it probably does since the toureg s base msrp is almost 10k more than the G.
