Hey everyone,Does anyone know if there is some sort of an aftermarket solution where I can listen to music on my stock 06 G35 radio from a usb stick? Does anyone make a cable that I can plug into the back of the stock unit which allows me to plug in a usb flash drive on the other end?

Thanks for all the help

Hi John,Thanks for the reply. I got the PAC AAI-NIS1 (I believe it's the first version thus the "1") installed but what I really hate about it is that the steering wheel controls only the volume. In order to skip the tracks I have to do it on the head unit itself. I know there are other units out there which are way more ipod friendly.

To make things worse, the volume is REAALLLLY low. I wish this thing had some audio gain controls so I could boost up the audio a bit. Or is there something I'm missing? When i pop in a CD the thing blasts my ears but the ipod I have to turn up all the way and its still quiet for me.

Where in your thread do you mention a USB drive? Did I miss that? I looked through the entire thing.

Thanks for you help.

I was just suggesting ipod over a usb drive. I had that same volume problem but it's because of the connecting cable. I picked up one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/IPOD-TOUCH...%3A50 and the sound quality is a lot better. if you wanted to plug in a usb drive, the only way would be to get an aftermarket headunit.

Not exactly the same as requested, but for my 99 300 m I have an FM modulated unit that works fairly well. Plugs into the accessory plug.
