US G35 & MiddleEast G35 Engine Difference

Hey guys,

a stock 2007 G35 sedan produces 306hp(in US) , but the same car in UAE has 327hp !(stock)hows that ? I dont understand it cuz its the same car (we just dont have some options for Snow and Seat-heater)why the engine has more power than G35's in US ?

Probably due to different emission standards and fuel.

Yeah it came up a few times. No differences between the 2 engine. Only differences the measuring the hp. You guys have slightly different measuring then north america.

no it is how you measure the HP...

like for ex... 1hp in the us is = 1.07 hp in your country

just like my 06 was measured at 298 but then the standards changed

so in comparison to the 07 standards my 06 sedan has 288 hp stock not 298.

It is not your petrol.

As Tampa says. Only the way you guys measure the hp and we measure it here. Just the standards are different.
