URNT: I bought a J30 VLSD for my 240. DO I need J30 Axles too?

i only have a few hours to reply to this guy but i bought a J30 VLSD to swap inot my 240 and he said i would probably need J30 axles as well. can anyone let me know? please?thanks a lot guys!

there is a sticky at the top of the page about this install. I would try reading that ;)

what year is your 240? and what year is the j30 diffy out of??

96 240 and the J30 is a 95 differential

ok... how much of a mechanic experience do you have?>??

did you try to look at the axles and the flanges of the J30 as well as your car???

the best way to figure it out... if you haven't already by reading the sticky... is just get under your car and look at both... go look at it and tell me what you find...

i put a 95 j30 rear in my 95 240. it bolts right in. the j30 vlsd rear is aout .75 inches longer. so i put a shorter nissan drive shaft in. check out the installs page at 240sx.org
