My 2000 Xterra's f.t. is corroded specially in the upper part where the fuel sending unit cap needs to be attached, fuel vapors inside/outside are getting me sick, smelling specially when stop and sometimes leaks. Don't know why this corrosion, because the body and interiors are completely free of corrosion and almost like new.
I need this part but how can I know which one to buy , if there are different part/models for the same yr, 17201: [M10] 17202-7B400, 17202-5S620; 17202-9Z500TK, 17202-7B400. Can I replace the f/tnk with a 2006, what are the differences between both fuel tanks (if any). Please help!!!
