You are in Scottsdale. Use Infiniti Of scottsdale. not cheap OEM NEW. I have a booster in my trunk for my 1992 non active, pretty sure it WON'T work for you. Car - part .com has atleast 10-12 listed. Some in the Texas nevada area

Thanks for the link today; however, I called them already this morning to hear the bad news that they don't have the one that coincides with my VIN.

BAP Imports actually showed a part number for one to fit my Q, but said it wasn't available!

RATS.

Need to validate with the salvage guys that their serviceable part numbers coincide with my 94 Q45a's bad-booster: 64U00 M215T JKC 817 01054 3Y12 .

If it checks, I'll need this shipped to the address of my garage as follows:

Bob Reichert
c/o Sunset Automotive
200 South Roosevelt Avenue Suite 10
Chandler, AZ 85226
Attn: Jack Eichenberg
480-940-1563

Maybe two of the twelve on the car-part.com site could work!

Is there any other site that I might check too?

Thanks again for the help today!

How far are you from Chandler AZ?

The Pick-n-Pull in chandler shows a 94 Q in the yard. They don't know about the a model -- so someone will have to physically check the car at the yard.

If the Chandler Q45 turns out to be an a model, you can get one for approx $27.

If this had happened last month, I could have snagged you a booster from a 94 a model at the P-n-P in my area for $27. I knew the lady that owned that Q and the brakes were working when engine problems stopped the car from running.

Heath might be able to find a 94 Q45a model at a yard in Qtopia (a.k.a Atlanta GA) if he is planning a trip there in coming days..

Let me check the Chandler yard out: I office in Chandler!

However, I suspect that the 94 Q won't be an active.

How can I contact the Qtopia in Atlanta?

CAN'T BEAT $27?

Thanks for your advice and directions!

What's the difference between an active's brake booster and a base/T brake booster?

There is no difference for 1994 base vs. active. Both use 47210-64u00. my '95 has a -67u02. not really sure what changed, but the cut over was in build date April/May 1994.

Thankfully the good folks at Chandler Infiniti loaned my a G37 for a month while they successfully rebuilt my booster!

Thanks for all your advice -all's well now...and ACTIVE.
