It's the camshaft sensor.......got the sensor for 46 dollars but they're charging me an hour labor.

thats good for OEM part. My autozone part was a little bit higher compare to your but much lower compare to my dealer's price. Once you replace it, you're set. Also check my other review thread on torque app and Bluetooth obd ii dongle. It's very useful scanning car for codes as well as monitor it.

It wasn't my m45.....its my wife fx45 so maybe that's why.
Back again at the dealership today for the engine service light....
Now they saying the cats are going. 1400 per side...I can't believe it.
Not sure what to do?

Cats?? That sounds crazy!! I would turn that work down... the car wouldn't pass emissions if the cats were going out?! Plus if you do have to replace cats aftermarket will be a ton cheaper so don't do it at the dealer!!

ask for code, better yet, get the code yourself. unless you see codes, i turn down on all "dealer advise service"

the camshaft sensor will give you a CEL. you can reset this with the torque app and bluetooth dongle i previously review. autozone or advance auto will not clear your code. if you're in a pickle, go pick up a standard OBD II scanner from harborfreight and reset it yourself first.

I Def. Said no......I have a mechanic I used for years before I got both infiniti.
Trust them.....so ill be going there and ask them to read the codes...I'll. Do high flow cats if I do anything.
