JOei, youre going to regret that size without rolling the fenders and some significant camber. that extra half inch plus the 5mm, AND the huge tires are going to kill your car. if you want to try to work it, add like 2* of camber and put a 235 tire on the rear.
Every time I go over a dip On my way home yesterday with my 20's in my back seat i hear my rears rub.
Do you guys think its cause of the weight of my 20's or do you think This will be a problem i will face with these tires.
I will also be on coilovers next week and i would hate to burn my money. I brought the car back to discount tires and they're willing to let me trade these in for 225/40,
what do you guys think? will I be ok with 245/40-19? or should I go with 225/40-19? please help me out guys, If im better of with 225 then i would like to tell them tomorrow morning so that i can get it asap.

I run 245/40/19 on my Coupe with NO problem, but based on your pics above you arent even close to rubbing. I think something else is making the noise?

I am on 245/35/20 with the pro kit and don't rub. You need to get your car on a lift or climb under it to see what is going on. Make sure you have the right off set on your rims.

Yeah check your offset, maybe the camber is off... did you get an alignment?

You have at least 240+ lbs of weight in the trunk and back seat (i presume). You typically will not have that much stuff weighing you down, especially in the trunk. Under normal driving conditions you may be ok.

But yeah, sounds like the offset is too high for the tire's width (or vice versa). Moving to a narrower width may solve the rubbing problem.
