When I had my car lowered with Eibach pro-kit. My friend (Acura mechanic) tried to remove the sensor by removing a bolt holding the sensor not knowing there was a plug in the engine component.
It's pressed in pretty hard. It's nearly impossible to remove them without damaging them. Mine broke in to pieces and removing the shell for the senor was a bit**.
When I bought the new sensor I had to pressed back in lightly with a little help of hammer. As being installed make sure you align the hole for the bolt. I had to turn and align as I was pressing (gentlely tapping) in and you can not turn them because they are very tight as they are half way in.
My recommendation is don't remove the senor. Chances are you will end up buying anotherone anyways. I wouldn't touch it.
I drove the car without the senor connected until I got my parts. TCS and slip light will be on which means no abs and traction until replace them with new ones.
