I am almost done with my manual swap, except that my driveshaft doesn't fit !!

Is the KA24E transmission longer than a KA24DE transmission?

I have a 1995 non-abs manual driveshaft but it is about 3 quarters of an inch too long...

I also have an s13 driveshaft but it doesn't make sense at all..

What have you guys used to do your swaps ?

From what I've come to understand the non-abs driveshaft is about 1/2 inch longer than the ABS.

My guess is you just need the ABS driveshaft and you should be good. The SOHC transmission and DOHC should be the same transmission IIRC.

It's actually the exact driveshaft I'm needing as I have a 1997 non-abs car I'm trying to round up parts for to do the swap.

Since the driveshaft doesn't fit would you consider selling it to me? I would appreciate it greatly if you would.

Edit:: Taken from another post:

The S13 chassis is SHORTER than an S14, and the driveshafts are in NO WAY interchangeable.

Looks like if yours is too long then you need the ABS driveshaft....so again I'll ask...sell me yours?
