I have a 2+2 i'm going to tt swap. for now i'm looking to do applicable mods, iw exhaust intake suspension etc....

I've heard the cross member between motors is different. does that mean i'll need different motor mounts when doing my swap later on. or can i re-use urethan motor mounts from an na to the tt?

If thats the case i'mm buy the cheaper nismo ones for now and not spend the double for the urethane until i do the swap....

There is no difference in how the motor mounts fit up, NA or TT oem mounts work fine. Stay away from the urethane mounts like the noltecs, they do not hold up well at all with all of the heat.

Stock mounts should be fine for you. But.....for what its worth, I have the noltec urethane motor mounts and have had them for years with zero problems.

Jeery, Keep a close eye on them. Once you see how they fail it's kind of scarey. I've read of several others having problems with them breaking down and we recently had to replace a set for it. The metal portion of the mount is only heat bonded to the urethane. The set that we had to replace had broken down so badly that the motor had dropped almost an inch and was resting on the steering rack, this happened over a period of about 18 months.

I don't think I've ever seen Nismo mounts listed for the Z32. The OEM mounts work just fine.

Jerry doesn't drive his car enough for him to worry about it.

OK, I'm done. Show me a part number, not a generic picture that is the same as shown for every other motor mount/trans mount on that link. Obviously you are dead set on buying "NISMO" products so please do so, even though the "NISMO" part in question doesn't exist.

OK, I know I said that I was done with this but it's just getting too humorous at this point. The part number which you so cleverly posted is clearly described as the transmission mount. Now why don't you go ahead and order two of those and see if that generic picture will help you mount your motor with them??

I checked at work today (Nissan) and there is no NISMO motor mount set for the Z32. Simple as that.

your right i called them and even though on the ordering it mentions the engine mount infortunately nismo doesn't produce any yet.....also silver twin is right about the urethan mounts.. i looked at Z1's web site they also mention the problem with the urethans not withstanding the heat the tt produces.they have a low boiling point.....dam dam dam....looks like i'm stuck with 0em which aren't cheap and don't last long or solid mounts......if they are available

but thanks guys for the info and pointing out the non existant nismo engine mounts...you saved me atleast one headache..
