Does anyone know if a company makes a urethane body kit for an S13? Or at least the front bumper cover? I'd like to go aftermarket possibly but I can't stand the fiberglass...

What is it you don't like fiberglass? personally I prefer it over urethane because of it ability to be repaired. Also a quality made kit is very durable. I remember trying to break an m-sports fender into piece to fit into the trash can. I bent the fender over completely and was stamping on it, but the damn thing wouldn't break.

but anyways if you want urethane get the type-x front bumper.

I don't like fiberglass because of how it is do curb unfriendly. It cracks and paint falls off and it's just not that way I want to go with my car. Where is this type-x bumper? Is there a link somewhere?

Damn thats hot. How has the reliablility been with that thing? I have heard that they are some of the worst cars ever built. Does it handle decently at all? Is it quick? Sorry for all the questions, but I have never known anyone with a delorean.

It's extremely reliable and it's one of the best cars ever built when it comes to safety and reliability. The "DMC" was originally supposed to be called the "DSV" - DeLorean Safety Vehichle. The reason so many DeLoreans don't run well is because of poor maintainence by their owners and their cars usually sitting for too long and not being used. Any car will go to sh*t if it just sits and isn't driven... When I bought my car it had been sitting for over 9 years. Once I replaced everything that was bad from sitting, it ran great and still continues to do so!

No, it's not fast by todays standards... wasn't especially fast back in 81, but it was ok. It handles nicely. Chasis was designed by Lotus.

There's tons of info all over the web about these cars. One site that's cool is http://www.entermyworld.com. My car is on that site somewhere...

BTW- What about my question? Urethane bumper cover?

I don't like that kit very much. Reminds me of an 89 supra. I have seen much worse though.

Price isn't much higher than normal OEM parts. Most of the Urethane stuff that I've seen is kinda ugly, and I dig the type x thing, so I'm going for it. Raceonusa.com has a few urethan kits though!

C-West kits are available in PFRP which is a poly/flexible type body part.

And since INGS+1 and DRFT are essentially C-West, so those are available in PFRP as well.
