ur slave cylinder go out as much as mine?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I put in an ACT clutch kit stage 2 and a fidanza full race flywheel and ever since then i have been going through slave cylinders like they are going out of style!!! so far i have put five on and i am wondering if anyone else is having the same problems I have only put one master cylinder since those parts have gone on. the slave is not expensive but its a ***** bleeding! let me know!!! PEACE.

I've gone through two sets of master and slave cylinders in the past 2 years but they have all been cheap ones from autozone.

Step #1

stop buying major parts from autozone/pepboys/advance

Step #2

look at your clutch pivot fork, (its the thing that connects to the slave, that moves with the t/o bearing etc.) if you can wiggle it more than you think you should be able to, you probably have a broken clutch pivot bolt, or bent clutch pivot fork, or both.

If you can move it alot, you can probably shine a light in there and see if its broken off.

2. I have an OEM Exedy Clutch, Fidanza flywheel, Stainless clutch line and Autozone slave cylinder and I have no problems what so ever. So I be thinkin that the problem is somewhere else.

If in case nothing is broken then fork up the cash and get the Nismo slave.
