i think it was something like $6200 w/ 1 yr powertrain warranty. we prolly could have talked him down a bit more but it was my dad that was paying so i didnt mind so much. it was in real nice condition and you can tell that the previous owner took care of the car so i dont mind if i overpaid a bit

Never had to replace anything on my car. Everything was stock on it when i bought it, exaust and all. Pretty good for a 13 year old car.

Hate to be the bringer of bad news, but I've spent about a grand repairing my 89. All maintenance stuff though, brakes, clutch, water pump, fuel pump, oh yeah and timing chain.

Old guides were still in at 143k. I'm surprised they lasted that long.

I have a '95SE with 74,000miles on it. I bought it in summer of '97. Since then I have had numerous problems with it even though I have been very easy on it and worked very hard to take care of it. Here are the things that have been replaced:

power steering rack, pumpwheel bearingcrank seal and oil pan sealstrutsstartervent hosebushings in tension rodsengine de carbed last December since then my idle has been abt 200rpms high and gas mileage has dropped abt 2 miles/gl first fluctuation in idle and gas mileage since I've had the car, will have to take it back to mechanic to figure out why.

other curren problems: intermittent AC control lights, no pattern and haven't had them looked at.power antenna just broke the other day (motor runs but antenna does not go up/down)rear diff leaking

no major wrecks, though, its been hit while parked once, rear-ended below 5mph, rear-ended someone below 5mph, two dents, one in roof and another one on rt fender because someone dropped something on my car. I have babied this thing from day one but as u can see i've had bad luck.

Any suggestions on my current problems.

only mods are intake and plug wiresand stereo equip

I have a 95 240SX SE. ive had it since october 2002. i got it for $6,500 and it had 65k miles on it. it was in great shape and had a cd player so it wasnt that bad of a deal. ive had it for over a year and the only things that have gone bad are the battery terminals and im currently having a problem with power steering fluid. im very happy with my car.
