upsizing tires for a '98 Q

I'm thinking of going with 225/60/16's for my '98 Q. I've always felt the tires looked too skinny for a car of this size.

Has anyone else done this?

The higher the load index the better, the greater the safety reserve, the longer the tires will last, the better they will brake and handle compared to the same tire in a lower load index.

Ideally a 255/50/16 would be used except the oem wheels are too narrow...........245/50/16 might work ok with oem wheels.
