UPS DROPPED VLSD

yes thats right , ups dropped the box with my vlsd and axels. a grease cap and 3 bearings are missing from an axel. im not worried about fixing that, its the diff. on the flange type deal that connects to the axel (the thing that has the 5 bolt hole pattern) one of the bolt hole is bent back. im bringing it to a machine shop to see if they can bend it back. any suggestions. ill post pics when im on my own computer

oo and yes, the package was insured and im gunna try to get ups to pay for this.

go back and smack ups in the head... lol... they suck at delivering, i ordered a hotshot and UPS was the one who delivered it to me. When I got my hotshot the box looked like it was ran over 100 times.

one of my friends dropped his own vlsd in his garage, ouch, and bent back one of the axle flange things, I think he successfully bent it back with a hammer on a flat surface, i think its worth a try, but still try to get some money from UPS.

yeah I recently got one from ups, and almost all of the heat fins were broken off. I mostly blame it on the seller though, it was hardly packaged at all. Overall I have been very pleased with ups.

ups has always been great to me. get ups to get another one. teh dropped a gsr transmission i bought off ebay and cracked teh housing. they let me keep it and reimbursed me 700$ (more than i payed for it)
