Upper rad hose

I was talking to a guy who said that there is a rad hose off a specific car that will work for the Sr with the stock KA rad with only one minor cut. I have seen the hose and it fits great. Does anyone know which car that is from? I assume the upper rad hose part number listed in the parts guide is for an SR with an SR rad. Thanks in advance

I used the SOHC KA hose and just cut it. It fits perfect. I don't know exactly where I cut it but I just eye-balled it and it was pretty easy.

I'm not sure what its off of, but I just walked around my local parts store with a piece of wire bend in the length and shape I needed and I found it. Its a Gates belt, part number 20893 and it fits perfect with just minor trimming on the ends. Solved the problem for me, a 1 piece hose, no worries about extra clamps coming loose, etc. I hessitated to post this because alot of places are now selling hose kits at inflated prices, but since I walked around my parts store for 20 minutes in search of this, I did the footwork, and I feel I can freely give this information.

Its off an '02 Neon and a bunch of other cars. I'm going to buy one tommorrow and I will post it up it the compatable parts stickey if all goes well.

i used a regular high performance fabric/rubber braided hose and trimmed it till it fit perfectly. No problems at all (knock on wood) and it looks nicer than the stock one.... BTW i have the JDM radiator with my SR.
