upper plenum question

Hi all. I bought an '03 R50 a little over 1 month ago to drive while my G hibernates. Mod bug already bit so I threw in the hi-flow Amsoil filter I had kicking around from when my car had a stock airbox.

My question is..."Does the upper plenum on the VQ slope towards the front two intake runners like on the '03-'04 350Z/G35?". Knowledgeable answers appreciated, thanks.

It kind of looks like you took the whole plenum off in the pic, I think that's the intake manifold. If that is the lower plenum then it's completely different from the G35.

The reason I'm curious on the plenum is I'm thinking of throwing a plenum spacer on. Has anyone here done that to their 2002-?
