Hey guys,

I bought a used upper front strut from another member, and am going to install the item on the Versa tonight. It is Ultra Racing and I want to know if anyone else has that and can tell me the torque needed to install it. I've had various numbers thrown at me.

Thanks in advance!

I'll let ya know tomorrow. I travel up and down the mountain everyday to work so I'm interested to see if I notice a difference. Right now, the Versa is in the garage for the night ...

First driving impressions:
I noticed a big difference already just by driving to work.

The car feels much tighter and not as loose as it did before when turning!

now go for the rear sway bar. it'll work well with the front strut brace.

But I don't like how it goes in my trunk area ... I flip my rear seats down a lot for the dogs, and would hate for that to get in the way ...

Strut bars and sway bars make a huge difference!

Im not sure on HB Versa (because I've never seen one) but I know in some GM's (like the cavalier) you can custom make a trunk bar, and you bolt it under the carpet with your spare donut, it lays across it and helps some and doesn't get in the way. But I think its best with the other two bars.

I want a strut and sway bar for mine, hopefully soon, she could use it.

From the pics I've seen from other Versa's, the rear sway bar goes through your trunk area, which I am not a fan of.

So far I'm just sticking with the front one, it's already made a huge difference. The car feels a tad bit more grounded, LOL!

no, the sway bar is underneath the rear. the rear shock brace is in the hatch area.

The sway bar on other cars ive seen goes underneath, but I was talking about a trunk bar.

This is probably what your thinking of

This is a rear strut bar (this one is custom made for a Cavalier)

I'm really too lazy to find the trunk bar right now lol the guys thread is like 28 pages long, and I can't remember when he made it. So I'll find it later.

theres a rear sway bar that goes underneath..sway bars are always underneath the car...and the rear strut bar goes in the trunk. in this case ultra racing makes both for the versa which is great
