Ok so due to the T-bar crank my camber is terrible!! and i have already had the truck aligned but hte guy said there wasnt enough adjustments to compensate for it. My Question is will my new upper arms im about to install do the trick with the camber?? I know they are supposed to fix balljoints but i didnt know if its because they were longer.. Any help would be great!

you can get longer grade 8 bolts for your UCA's to allow extra shims thats what iv seen a few people do

I guess if they are longer and stick out farther than stock, I don't see how they couldn't reduce camber. But when the front suspension compresses, there will just be more positive camber depending on how dramatic it actually is. Pics would make it easier to see...

I hope your new UCA's have adjustable camber.

Is the lift really worth the trouble? Camber is hell on big tires, and will need frequent rotations or else they will wear way unevenly. On a 4wd, this will put strain on the driveline if all the tires aren't almost exactly the same. This won't be as big a deal with your 2wd, but you still want them rotated for good measure.

Hopefully you can sort it out.

you want it at zero even on 2wd, or tires will wear fast, my Z came with -1 degree and the tires on front went to crap fast. get longer bolts and shim that bad boy.

well a theory here but my truck is lowerd and it has the camber problems that JC has

and i wanted to do the longer bolt thing too.....so under compression one would think it would be good right?

Yes the longer bolts should fix the negitive camber problem. I have also learned the nissans are weight sensitive. I have someone seat in the drivers seat while I check alignment. Let them check the alignment, then sit down and see how much it changes. A 220 pound driver can effect by as much as 1 degree, and will toe a 1/4".

That's why they make lift arms. The lift arms not only correct the ball joint angle, but they're also a tick longer to compensate for the negative camber you have. Longer bolts and more shims isn't a very good solution...you're putting more leverage on those bolts the longer you go.
