Hello, Has anyone replaced their upper control arms with aftermarket parts? If so, which parts did you use, and what has your experience been? I lowered my car with the Eibach Pro Kit and it's been pulling to the right ever since. I had it aligned and they said there isn't enough adjustment available for the caster, and that the upper control arms should be replaced. I've heard that G37 control arms can be used, but would love to hear if anyone has run into the same issue.

Welcome to the forum.

You might be right on the M37 being interchangeable with the G, but for anyone reading this with a V8, I don't think there is UPC's...

EDIT: I've edited the thread to resemble the type of car.

This can't be right. You are the first I hear that needs control arms after getting springs. Maybe your arms are not straight and that's why it pulls? Nobody has said anything about the car pulling to a side after doing that mod

Thanks for the reply! I just spoke with the guy that did the springs and he agrees that it shouldn't need new control arms. Maybe a bad alignment shop, or bent arms like you mentioned. I hit a pretty sizable rock with the right front and had to replace the hub/wheel. Maybe it did more damage than I thought.

If you hit something that caused hub replacement work, I'd definitely visit a body shop to see if your suspension is straight or worse, frame.

Yeah. I would have it looked at. Something is not right now there for you to be pulling. Start with an alignment and inspection. I went to my local NTB and got a 5 year unlimited alignment plan for $170 I think. I still have about two years left. Deals like that come on handy a lot and are good for your pocket on the long run. I usually take my car in every six months or so just to see how the numbers hold up. NTB, Firestone...etc you can get plans like that at most places

Yep the G37 and the 2011+ M's use the same control arms.

Can you use the 05 G35 control arms as well?
