Now is there a way to upgrade these or make them better in any way? They either are clogged or the pump sucks really bad because one side is alright and the other side is like pissing out the fluid after a night from a hangover and hookup...lol

So is there a way I can upgrade them to make them better or should I just replace them with OEMs? I would like them to spray more mist like because I want to get my whole windshield without taking life away from my bosch Icons.

You could try "upgrading" to nozzles (and possibly the pump) from another car with a larger windshield or a "better" spray pattern.I've never looked close enough at individual washer systems to know if hose and fitting sizes are common. You could always make an "adapter" if they aren't--soft hose is easy to work with.

I'd start by trying to clean up your existing ones, though. First, use a fine pin/needle to clean out the nozzle. If that doesn't help, try disconnecting the hose after the pump and running a bit more pressure through the system than the washer pump provides in order to get any gunk out. You might want to give pressure in reverse, so whatever is in the hoses doesn't get lodged in the smaller nozzles.

I've always been disappointed with how mine work, too. It seems like the wipers should wait longer before starting (the mist doesn't have time to get good coverage) and then they keep running too long after spray stops (which only serves to smear and re-dirty the windshield).I wonder if there's a way to adjust the behavior of the system...

lol, yep same here but I learned that if you flick it they will spray and the wiper will not move. I do it on the highway all the time, I just flick it fast and the water from the wind hits most of the spots that never happen. I than hold it a little longer and the wipers will go...

I also hate how when water does not spray towards the top of the wipers and it smears the dirt and pollen and it looks gross and can kill the life of the wipers faster. I also don't get how my wipers don't get the very top perfectly. I wonder if the arms are the issue...

Thanks for the tips on cleaning them btw...

or, you can get some LED ones like me. they are JDM tyte yo. the nozzles aren't half bad, but not nearly as good as my oem ones. If yours suck and youre not a ricer or you want them to spray very well, get oem and i think you can adjust them too
