no the turbo has a restictor built into the oil inlet, however I used factory lines but it shouldnt matter. This is on a s15 t28

Ya man have fun im in the process of the same upgrade right now and the water line IS A PITA. Sure if the motor is out then its a brease but if its in you have like 3-4 inches to squeeze your hand and some plyers to pinch a hose crimp and pull off the hose. Ps you might want to remove your ac line that runs back there if you dont have ac.

yeah I upgraded mine in the car its kind of a pain but on the second one I did it was a breeze. and I used the stock lines. the only problem i had was getting the proper drain fitting which I ended up making. My friend baught one from jgy and im not impressed, i wouldent even put it onthe car untill i cleaned it up

the lines are already in, i did the upgrade one month ago along with a s14 t28, but aparently the turbo is blown, so im replacing it with a new one.Do you have the ID number on your s15 turbo? i just want to make sure i have the right one, the guy that sold it to me says is a gt28r, but im pretty sure is a s15 auto transmission turbo same as s14

Some people still need a restrictor with certain turbos, my old setup did, so thats why they sell it on the site. I have a gt28r on my redtop now with stock lines, which were used on the factory t25 so the restrictor is either in the turbo (meaning the gt28r) or magically my turbo hasnt blown in the 10,000 miles Ive put on it with no oil restrictor.

No I didnt get lucky, its not possible to luckily not blow a turbo because of excess oil pressure. Its like luckily not dying if your head gets chopped off.
