upgrading stock rb26 turbos?

hola.. I have my 26 pulled out of my car right now and am currently rebuilding to prevent failure later when its back in the car.. And my mind is up in the air about the turbos.. I know all about the very weak ceramic wheels that break when over boosted and thats what i fear the most. And as much as i know i shouldn't turn up the boost i want to. I don't have the money to dump out on the injectors and hks turbos i eventually want to get so im just searching to figure out a way to strengthen the stocks or a cheap bolt on replacement that comes off another car.. Ive been searching on the forums and i caught the drift of someone upgrading to steel internals on the turbos but it didn't give any info. Does anyone know about this? any info helps.. or recommendations.. besides don't turn up the boost. THANKS!

i talked to a tech in my area who is familiar with 26's and the problem and he suggested just going to one of the turbo tech shops around my area and giving them the houseings and see what they can put in them.. So im gonnna check into that on monday
