I have a 2007 M45 that I am looking to upgrade. Is it possible to use the interior dash and cluster parts from the 2008 M in an 06/07 M? And also, is it possible to add Intelligent Cruise Control?

Welcome to the forum!

Possible? Anything is possible. Feasible/easily done? Not quite. One of our users, DeanM45, swapped some of the interior pieces and found that in some cases, the wiring, etc. was different if I recall.

As for ICC...no idea, but likely would need to be wired up unless the car is pre-wired for it.

Maybe there is something wrong with mine but as far as I can tell the ICC is utterly useless.

Mine works pretty well actually, I can virtually drive my car without touching the brake and half the time giving it minimal steering inputs. Then again, mine is years newer so maybe they fixed the tech.

well there must be something wrong with mine then... it's super jerky. sometimes it will think there's a car there when there isn't. sometimes it'll run right up behind someone and then slam on the brakes. it's constantly detecting cars in the next lane over.

Mine did that one day, but I think it was cause the sensor was dirty with snow/salt. I used it coming home from Rochester, NY 2 weeks ago and I honestly basically let the car drive itself. Only time I interfered was on turns.

Yes! Make sure the sensor is fully clean otherwise it can easily cause issues.
