Upgrading M35 Navigation Disc?

When I upgrade a navi disc, all I have to do is insert it right? Do i need to do anything else, like an update or anything?

I am pretty sure its like a plug and play thing!

Yes, just insert the new disc and all will work as intended without any updates.
