I'm interested in upgrading my headlights to a euro style HID halo and wanted to know if anyone had suggestions on which headlight brand is good, which to avoid, and maybe even which tuning websites are the best. thanks!

Do a search...there have been a few that have done it. The 06 lights have HID and should fit in the 03. Not sure on the wiring...but it's probably not too bad.

Digging up an old thread here...

Typically aftermarket headlights (like the ones from Spyder) are made to work on cars that have halogen headlights. If your car has factory HID headlights you will not be able to install an aftermarket halo headlight assembly as it is wired for a vehicle that has halogen headlights not HID.

Unless there is a company out there that sells replacement HID headlights with angel eye/halo, you might have to look into doing a retrofit.

thanks for your response...will prob stick with OEM headlights. had another question, though: I'm interested in changing the front bumper fascia...do I need to stick with OEM (because of having it fit right) or would there be a problem getting another type (looking at one from stillen)?

I have considered going the halo route myself, but honestly, stick with your stock xenon headlights. I know the halo's do look cool, but its purely a cosmetic upgrade. Also, a lot of the aftermarket halo headlights out there are garbage..have you ever thought about upgrading your fogs to HID to match your low beams?

Do you have a link for the Stillen one you're lookin at?

Kits from brands like Stillen should fit fairly well. Does not mean it's going to be perfect or that you won't have to do some trimming and adjustments for everything to fit exact.

From a halo perspective you can always contact 180custom who create custom "IronMan" style headlight mods. For a price they can do anything you want. Do a google search for "g35 ironman".
