So I've read places and heard that the stock fuel pump is sufficient for an sr swapped 240, but also heard that a high flow pump causes rich conditions. Just wanted to get that straightened out.

Get a high flow pump and a Nismo adjustable FPR. Then you will have no problems and total control.

I'm not going to be able to get to the FPR for some time... So long as I don't beat on it too much, should the stock pump be ok for a week or two?

The stock pump will work OK. I just wouldn't push the boost past the stock, 7psi. I'm running a 255lph Walbro fuel pump with the OEM fuel pressure regulator. It does run a little rich on occaision, but nothing that causes performance issues. Nor does it cause my cat to melt and get clogged or something stupid. That usually happens from people running an open BOV, now THAT's rich.

Thanks... That's what I was hoping to hear. I plan on leaving it totally stock for a long time, as I'm not sure what my plans are for the car yet.

I really do love 300s.

I would still pick up an upgraded fuel pump. I did, just as a safety precaution. You're going to hate life when you realize a $100 part could've stopped your SR from catastrophically detonating.

I would def upgrade the fuel pump if you plan on running higher horsepower. If you keep it stock at the stock boost setting (7lbs) you should be ok. Definitely get a good shop to tune your car when you are done cause that will make all the diff in the world. Good Luck.

I'm not going to be beating on the car at all. I'm planing on just swaping the motor in and leaving everything stock, that way the next owner can build to his own liking.
