Upgrading from steel to alloy wheels: New lug nuts?

I bought my girlfriend some used OEM alloys with good tires as an upgrade from her steelies with bald tires. (The dealer convinced her they had lots of life left, which was about 2000 miles before she started hydroplaning all over the place. )

So, do I need new lug nuts for the alloys? If so, recommendations on quality, affordable lugs nuts? Specs and style?

FYI she has a 2014 Rogue S AWD

Was there anything wrong with the existing set? If not, I dont think you'd really need it. If you don't have security lug nuts, that might be something you should consider getting instead.

Nothing wrong with the existing set of lug nuts, but I wasn't sure if they have a different designed nut for steel wheels vs alloys. I would get security nuts if I thought the stock 8yr old alloys were worth stealing.
