Hi All,

So I just leased a 2010 Versa SL with the Sport package which naturally is lacking in the NAV system and XM Radio. I took this package because I wanted the seats and other little things that came with the Sport.

Now I want to upgrade to an in-dash nav system with XM and traffic.....

So a few questions for the knowledgeable minds:

1) Should I go OEM and where can I find that?
2) Will the steering wheel controls work with an upgraded OEM or Non-OEM unit?
3) Can you suggest a great aftermarket unit for under $500?

Thanks,

Ben

Sport package no longer includes XM radio?

My 08 with sport & technology package came with XM radio and all the other goodies (Nav was not an option back then).

You can probably get a nice aftermarket one with all kinds of features for less than the OEM one. It all depends on what you prefer. Was the Nav package with XM not available from the dealer?

Go aftermarket, either Pioneer or Kenwood with Garmin maps.

Since it's a lease, what are you going to do at the end of the lease period? Pull it back out?
