I have a 95 240sx se DOHC 16valve. I was wanting to know what all i can do to it to get the horse power up and what would be the best order to do these mods in. I dont know if i want to turbo it or not just yet. As of right now i dont realy like the turbo lag and thats the main thing about it i dont lke. So for now i will keep it NA. Thanks for any help.

aem/injen intake, hotshot/dc header and any 3" exhaust would be able to give you atleast a decent 15whp gain

Fuel Filter.. Fuel pump.. 850cc injectors... ECU hooked upto a laptop with live edit... take off heat shields and wrap your exhaust pipes... NGK I plugs/wires... New Cams... Findanza Flywheel/clutch... Aluminium Drive shaft.. Short Shifter (if manual) ...VLSD... the list goes on.... you can do plenty of mods to the car that are not engine dependent so if in the future you want to do a swap (or you blow your engine) you can still use this stuff... I figure I will upgrade all of the non engine dependent stuff on my car... Then go Turbo... Blow the **** out of the engine at some point and do a SR swap. better for an engine to go out with a bang then a whimper... (as long as the bang does not screw any of your "good" parts up )

why the hell would u need 850cc injectors and a upgraded fuel pump for an NA application?

You'll probably need SR injectors if you've modified your camshafts, ignition map and intake manifold. But 850cc is just overkill. Hell, that's overkill for 99% of turboed cars.

Not if you can get them cheap I have seen them for the same price or even a little less then 550cc injectors (used) so why not be overkill if it makes it so you don't have to change them twice? I am planing on going turbo and really pusing it at some point so it makes sence for me...

^^ I'm gonna guess that you're new to the whole tuning thing after that statement.

Because you'll need to be pushing about 600-700whp before you need anything bigger than 550cc. There's just no point, and it has the potential to be a problem. And any slight variances in your engine's metering systems (TPS, MAF, CTS, etc) will cause a worse throw off with 850cc injectors.

Since you already have an CAI, Header, and a 3" Exhaust then the next thing to do would be step up to some S13 cams or equvelant and a tuned ECU. NGK plugs and wires will also help. To let your engine work with less effort try getting an aluminum flywheel and aluminum underdrive pulley set. There isn't much more you can do after that short of tearing the motor apart and upping the compression and getting head work done. That is if you plan on staying NA like you stated. All these mods have worked on my 95 S14!!

actually 550cc will usually max out around 380-400whp depending on the mods.
