Upgraded to a Versa

Thanks to the CARS program (cash for clunkers) I am a proud new Versa owner. I knew I liked the car from the moment I test drove one, but the more I get to drive it and get used to it, the more "In Love" I am.

Call me crazy if you want, but I think that each car has a personality of it's own, and mine's is the personality of a Star, so that is her name. She is Artic Blue and a real beauty.

I look forward to learning more about Versas, and sharing my story as well

She is getting her power locks, windows and keyless entry today! That is our first upgrade. What is next, who knows. My husband is quite excited about all the possibilities.

The next thing I want to look at is a way to mount my Garmin without wires running all over the place.

Ooooh, nice color. Back in '01 my wife wanted that color on her (then) new Altima. But we couldn't find it so we went with pearl white.

I'm going up in the next couple of days to trade in my old Pontiac minivan for a Versa sedan using the cash for clunkers program. Can't wait.

If I was not in love before, I am now!!

I took a trip to see my parents (400 miles round trip) this weekend. My gas milage was soooooooooooo sweet. Even around town I am getting better than 30mpg. Highway was even better. Considering we traded an Explorer that we were lucky if we got 15 mpg, I am so happy.

***Upgrade update...........****We are moving slow with these. The power windows, locks and keyless entry were put in last Wednesday by Screaming Squirrel Audio in Hendersonville, and they are great. I have also gotten new floor mats (thanks for my birthday present sis), that are Betty Boop Stars! They look awsome! Will keep you posted as we do more.
