Upgraded ECU Question

How could you find out what upgrades was done on an ECU. Could open the ECU and do research on the CHIP ?

its a craps shoot. theres virturally no way to know unless its written on the ECU or you have it read and compared to a stock program.

kamin is right.its not hard to tell whats been done to an ecu but its worthless unless you know what you are looking at.im getting better at analyzing the ecu's and diffrent rom tunes.........big changes are easy to spot, its the smaller ones that get you.
