alright question. Does anyone know how much work it would be to put either 350z/g35/r33/r34 calipers/rotors on a kouki 240sx.

fronts are easy, rears require conversion to drum-type parking brake, ie swap hubs.

Unbolt caliper, remove rotor. Installation is the opposite or removal.

Same goes for the rear. You DO NOT have to swap the rear hubs, as they are the same as the Z hubs already.

Pop it in first gear and your good to go! Parking on a hill, just turn the wheel until it makes contact with the curb and you're good to go!

Drifting and in need of a parking brake? That could be tricky......

I would NEVER drive a car without a working e-brake. They call it the "emergency" brake for a reason. It's in case of emergencies. If your hydraulic brakes fail, the e-brake is operated by a cable, so it is unaffected and you can still stop the car.

I retained the hub carrier but pulled those four bolts and popped in a Z32 hub to pick up the drum-type parking brakes.

i did the rear conversion on my 95. i ended up splicing the cables up by the drive shaft hump. about six inches behind the spot where the cables meet the cable coming from the emergency brake handle.
