I've replaced a cheap nasty blow off valve for a new ARC recirculating BOV on my S13 I was running 0.5KG/CM and when I replaced it with the new BOV it increaced to 1.0KG??? How does this happen, i'm struggling to get my head round it.... can anyone enlighten me?

ThanksSam

I've heard of bov's creating a rich condition usually because of not recirculating but not this. Have you double checked all of your lines and connections? Maybe the one that was on there was so bad it somehow cause a restriction.

my guess is your old bov was no sealing very tight . and your new one actually works as its supposed to.

I've checked all the pipe connections and they're all tight, i think you may be right that the last one was leaking and this one is actually working, however the car feels sluggish at higher rpm's compared with when the older bov was on??? I really don't get it? it's wierd! Thanks for the info

Sam
