I have an M56x and am considering upgrading to front and rear sport brakes. Aside from rotors, calipers and pads, is there anything else that needs to be replaced? I saw a post about stainless steel brake lines, too. I want to make sure I have everything I need when it's time to do the job.

I don't know if new lines are required, but would probably be definitely recommended since you'll be pushing more fluid through them (due to more pistons, etc.). I also don't know if you need to consider changing the master cylinder, but maybe not.

If you’re unsure you could always look up the parts diagram for sport and non-sport and see which parts are different.
