i have owned my ca for almost 2 years love this engine its my baby i need to do a rebuild im am thinking 9-1 compression pistons new rings and new barrings but i was wondering what i should do to increase reliability with this set up like fuel system stuff i dont want crazy power i just want a little more maby 200hp and some torque not a lot just some please dont flame this or any other gay stuff im deployed so i dont have a lot of time for research thank you for you input i will also be replacing the clutch and as manny gaskets as i can find and a lot of cleaning

have the injections cleaned and flow tested.

fuel filters

upgrade the fp if you havent already

seals, gaskets, water pump, timing belt, and maybe oil pump are all basic things when doing a rebuild. may need to get the block bored as well for those pistons.
