Upgrade qx50 brake line

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Quick question, trying to figure out what I need exactly for the brake swap for the calipera like yours.

G37 sport caliper aka akebonos
G37 sport rotor
G37 sport pads,
Banjo bolt for sport calipers

Would oem ex35 lines work with the akebono? Or do I need new lines?

Do I need anything else?

Beyond fluid and some grease.

Thanks a bunch!

Old lines work, all you need new banjo bolt and cut rear dust shield.
Keep in mind frond brakes are huge, so there will be clearance issue with factory wheels. Spacers is needed, or new wheels.

Would they clear the 19" wheels?

Would you mind laying out what exactly you did to do what you did? I have a 2017 qx50, and I feel like the brakes are nowhere near good enough. Mine have already started warping

Like I said, front factory 19" wheels will need spacers, rears are fine, I have changed front and rear brake lines with stainless steel ones, this step is not necessary, but if you will opt out, new (shorter)banjo bolts needs to be changed.
Rear brakes shields needs to be trimmed.

Amazing work! Did you do anything to the suspension/control arms etc? Sometimes when I'm driving the car a little hard and pretending it's a sports car, I feel like the suspension could feel more solid during my...extreme turn changes.

You need thicker Anti-roll bar(sway-bar)
