Anyone on this forum perform any upgrades to their M56 (x,s or base)?
I was thinking of adding a supercharger or turbo to my v8 m56x and wanted to know what would be the best way to do it?

There is virtually no aftermarket support for the M56. Just some HPS intake tubes, coilovers and cat back exhaust. That's about it. You'd be the first to attempt a SC or turbo on an M56.

There are no bolt on kits for the M56. Check out a company called Harrop Engineering . They make a supercharger kit for the Nissan Patrol/Armada/Infiniti QX56/QX80 so they might be able to fabricate something for the sedan as well. The difference in the sedan vs trucks is that we've got dual intakes.

Russ Smith did a TT M56. It's a beast, he just got it back after I think it's running 8 or 9psi now and making crazy power. But no one else, I don't think! About 30k for the job...

Oh wow. But yeah, my point is there is no 'kit' you can go to some website and buy, etc. If you do anything on this car, other than suspension and catback, it will be 100% custom, one-off, manual work.
