It would cost you about as much as buying another one with 4x4 already installed

Knowing nothing about 2014s but seeing Hybrid suggests it would be much more difficult than if it wasn't and maybe impossible if you want to keep the hybrid part. And if you got the mechanical part together I suspect the electronics would be more than daunting.

Yes you can. Drive it to a dealership and trade it in for a 4x4

No, it's not possible or feasible without an entire donor car and all the parts from it. Good luck finding a hybrid awd, as they were pretty rare and only made a couple of years.

It's a front wheel drive vehicle so I wouldn't really call it a "4x2" but you're better off in that with front wheel drive than a rear wheel drive "actual truck" in sticky situations, IMHO.

The older Pathfinders were rear wheel drive and the addition of 4x4 was absolutely a more dramatic shift in vehicle manners for a variety of reasons, part of the reason I wouldn't ever own a 2WD R50.

These new ones like yours are pretty much just a large station wagon that sits high. They're perfectly fine in snow, ice, on a beach or light off roading without having all wheel drive. Even if you had all wheel drive, they don't have low range so it's not nearly as well equipped as you'd think.
