Alright, so I haven't dyno'd yet ... I had a major setback with a non-existant oil pressure glitch  ... turns out the little $10 metal o-ring oil journal gasket behind the oil pump cover got crimped when installing the cover.

BUT ... I did recieve the upgraded fuel injectors 3/12 and dyno day is not far off. Keep in mind that I still need the secondary fuel pump for the big boost, but that is not what I'm focused on right now. I did however add the '98 side skirts and headlamp eyelids, as well as painted the OEM center grille. I chose not to use my other custom grille just because I like the way the OEM one turned out better :) . Check out some of the updated pics at my site, http://www.sounddomain.com/id/4sfed .

The secondary BOV on the cold side simply serves as a backup to relieve pressure in high boost easing stress on the compressor. I plan on filming the dyno, just don't know when exactly. The sound IS very cool though :D. Speaking of cool, did anyone happen to notice that the only Honda guy to comment on my car in my guestbook simply commented on the wheels? Figures ... :Werd

I had bought the system from a friend in trade for an RB25, which he has since sold already in place of another KA24 turbo build (only this time he's copying me :D ). He had chose the two different BOVs; don't know why two different brands, could be sound I guess ... it is sweet ... but yet effective, hmmmmmm.

Thanks everyone else for your comments, they mean a lot to a guy like me who builds cars the way "I" like to, not for what others may think of them. Cheers!

I love everything about your car EXCEPT for the eyelids.I dont need to say much, but those eyelids take away from the natural beauty of the oem look.

Take them off please!!!!

Thanks. I bought them barely used from a friend of a friend. They are OZ Racing and I believe they are Futura Modulars, but I'm not sure. I am sure that they don't make them anymore.

The Tein's are awesome. The ride is noteably stiffer and on pothole riddled roads it's not very happy ... but handling and highway driving is sooooo improved :) Plus, with the adjustability, you can set front and rear tension rates for drag, drift and/or autocross not to mention ride height. Hey, it's the price you pay for performance.

It's all in how you have each BOV adjusted. The Blitz unit on the cold side is nearly closed due to idle quality. But yes, there is a significant drop in pressure, at least at the 10lbs I've been running. I'll notice more pressure readings once the car is fully tuned.

I actually had to use a 1/4" spacer due to the coilovers which brought them out just barely more than I wanted. The offset was for use with the OEM struts ... the Teins height adjustment nut gets in the way. No biggy.

No. ;)

It took me a couple of days to get used to them, but these are high quality fiberglass (paint matched) eyelids, not vinyl decals. I have been a fan of the 97-98 240's and S15's so I guess the thinner style lights on those just appealed to me. Plus, I'm not a body kit/big wing fan at all and wanted something to offset the car just a bit ... so there! :P

PS - My wife has beautiful eyes, but when she's angry ... man what a turn on!!

Thanks. Yes, from silviaparts.net ... nice quality fiberglass and great fit. I used 3M exterior double sided tape. They do wrap over the headlamp assemblies so I suppose you could screw them down too. I like the way they give the car an aggressive look without overpowering like a body kit.

I'll take a pic. They do only wrap in about an inch and a half, so you'd have to screw them into the clear part of the headlamp assembly. Check back later tonight.

Very nice build up, and choice of modifications. KA is indeed a proven motor, when its done right - and you sir have done it right ! :D Your white zenki is bad-***. Cant wait to see that dyno video.

My white zenki's almost put back together, did couple upgrades, and prepr the car overall for a nice summer of toque / drift.

Empty bay - cleaned it up w/ some fressh industrial enamel.

You would surely take my vote for car of the year if we had that...
