Updates to Freshalloy iPod/Aux input hack?

I have searched around and haven't seen updates to the direct cassette input mod for an iPod input. As it is, it looks sensible and quite easy.

Are there any updates to this? I would rather use a cassette deck mod/hack rather than the CD or radio input hack.
