Been busy with life and have not updated lately.
1.) 7spd is still slipping its a** off going in and out of 4th gear for the past 30K miles.
2.)Just did the brakes and rotors all the way around AGAIN with Stoptech Rotors and their more aggressive pads. Compared to the warped rotors car drives so much more nicely. My average fuel economy has jumped up 4 mpg in my daily driving, from 20 mpg to 24 mpg. My car lives in Sport mode and the switch never moves from that setting.
3.)My coworker a tech at the dealership I work for is a 370Z owner. When he took the M56S on a test drive to bed in the pads and rotors, he was quite impressed. He mentioned to me how jumpy my car was and I said Vk56 certainly has a different powerband than the VQ37 doesn't it! He also found it surprising how the 7spd downshifts when you start breaking moderately and gives a huge assist from engine braking.
